What actually goes wrong

The stuff that spreadsheets quietly get wrong

Mid-period raises

Someone gets a raise, and suddenly last week's hours look wrong too

Flat pay-rate fields don't know "before" from "after." A raise on the 15th shouldn't touch what was earned on the 10th.

Fix: rate history — every rate change is dated, so past hours always pay at the rate that applied then.
Client billing periods

Not every client bills on the 1st — but every report assumes they do

Weekly, bi-weekly, semi-monthly, custom — real businesses don't all run on the same calendar.

Fix: a configurable billing period per client and employee, with a sane business-wide default.
Who logged what

An employee logs a service, and nobody's sure who gets the commission

Without a clear record, "who did this job" turns into a memory contest at payday.

Fix: service logging tied to the employee who did the work, visible on every client report.
Everything in one place

Built around the parts that are easy to get wrong by hand

Time clock

Clock in/out per client, or enter time manually. Every entry lands on the right day, the right client, the right person.

📅

Shared calendar

Schedule jobs and events, share them with the right coworkers, and get a reminder the day before.

💵

Rate history

Raises and temporary rates are dated changes, not overwrites — past pay never shifts under your feet.

🗓

Flexible pay periods

Monthly, bi-weekly, weekly, semi-monthly, or custom — set a business default, override it per client or employee.

📊

Payroll summaries

Flat or percent-of-billed-rate pay, resolved automatically per hour, per client.

🧾

Client reports

Clean, exportable PDF reports — hours, rates, and logged services, ready to send.

Simple pricing

Free for a small crew. Pay as you actually grow.

No tier cliffs — you pay a small base fee plus a per-person seat fee, so the price scales with your team, not in awkward jumps.

Questions

Good to know

Do I need a credit card to start the trial?

No. Sign up, use the full Pro plan for 30 days, and decide afterward. If you don't add a payment method, your account simply moves to the Free plan — nothing is deleted.

Does this run on Windows and Mac?

Yes — Flow Agenda is a real desktop app on both, not a browser tab you have to keep open.

What happens to a rate change mid-pay-period?

Nothing retroactive. Every rate change is dated — hours worked before the change keep paying the old rate, hours after pay the new one, automatically.

How is this different from a spreadsheet?

A spreadsheet doesn't know your billing period changed, doesn't stop someone from double-clocking-in, and definitely doesn't remember what the rate was three weeks before someone's raise. Flow Agenda does.

How do I actually sign up right now?

We're onboarding new teams personally while the self-serve signup is still being built — email us and we'll get your account set up directly, usually the same day.
